How to document a noisy neighbor

A single complaint is easy to brush aside. A dated series showing what you heard, when, how loud and how often is much harder to ignore.

  1. Each time the noise happens, open BeweisPaket and create a new record. Place and exact time are filled in automatically.
  2. Measure the noise in decibels and add a short voice note or recording of what you hear.

How to document rental damage and protect your deposit

Disputes about the deposit often come down to what the apartment looked like on the day you moved in and on the day you left.

  1. On move-in day, photograph every room, including existing scratches, stains and defects. Date, time and place are stored with each photo.
  2. Photograph the same spots again on move-out day, and after any repair.
  3. Compare the before-and-after photos side by side in the app to see exactly what changed and what did not.
  4. Create the PDF report. If a witness was present, let them sign directly on the screen, then send the PDF to your landlord.

  1. Before opening a damaged parcel, photograph the outside: the label, the packaging and the damage.

  3. Add a note with the carrier, the tracking number and the time of delivery. If nothing arrived, record the delivery address and the place where the parcel should have been.
