PRIVACY, BY DESIGN
TextHalo has no backend and no user accounts. Your API keys stay in your Mac's Keychain. The text you process is sent directly from your device to the provider you chose -- we never see it, store it, or use it for anything. Choose Ollama and nothing leaves your Mac at all.

REQUIRES ACCESSIBILITY ACCESS
To read your selected text and replace it in place, TextHalo needs Accessibility permission, which you grant once in System Settings. It is used only for this purpose -- never for tracking or monitoring.
